Include it in a day trip
Cambridge is a long way further afield but well within reach for a day trip from Shefford. It is just over 30 minutes drive on a good run.
As a traditional university city there are many things to see there and recently the shopping experience has become much better with the opening of The Grand Arcade.
Parking and Access
If driving, there are many park and ride services around the city during the day.
During the evening accessing and parking in the city centre is much easier with a number of multi-story cars to use in the centre.
The Cornex
The Corn Exchange in Wheeler Street right in the city centre can be a more intimate venue to watch touring shows, musical legends and new talent and laugh the night away to a selection of comedians. There are also a few more off the wall and diverse shows at certain times of year.
