The Shefford and District Amateur Radio Society meet at The Community Hall, 60 High Street Shefford Beds, SG17 5BD. (next to the fish & chip shop). There is plenty of parking and you will always be welcome..

Shefford and District Angling Association
The association is the local coarse fishing society. SDAA has an open membership with no joining fee for new members. The association controls the fishing rights on several excellent lakes and premier stretches of the rivers in and around Bedfordshire.

Shefford Art Society

Bible Society Shefford and District Action Group
Because millions lack the Bible in a language they can understand, in a form they can use or at a price they can afford.
Shefford Bowls Club
With excellent facilities and a green they are very proud of, the Club was formed in 1965 and is situated within the grounds of the Shefford Town Memorial Association. They are a mixed club totalling approximately 60 members.

Royal British Legion - Shefford and District
The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces locally and nationally. They are recognised as custodians of Remembrance and run the annual Poppy Appeal.

Shefford Concert Band
A Brass and Woodwind band catering for all ages of musician playing in and around Shefford. The band plays at numerous functions in the area, particularly in the summer months and at festive times of the year.

Shefford Fireworks Appeal
The Shefford Fireworks Appeal volunteers have been raising funds for local groups and causes for the last 20 years, donating 10’s of thousands of pounds to Shefford Christmas Lights, Shefford Scouts and Shefford Saints to name but a few.
